Lilburn Day Camp needs YOU!! Our camp is made possible through the volunteer efforts of more than 100 staff members each year. We invite you to join our happy camp family this year!
All volunteers must be registered Girl Scouts and must have completed a successful volunteer background check through the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. If you have not completed those steps, we can help you with the process once you have registered as a Lilburn Day Camp staff member.
As a bonus, volunteers receive deeply discounted rates for their children to attend camp, and are able to register sons and daughters as young as three! Volunteer all five days and your children attend for $40 each (school age boys are $70 to cover field trip costs)!!! Can’t volunteer the whole week? That’s ok!! The discounted rate is prorated based on the number of days you can work.
Register yourself as Staff, THEN register your campers. At the beginning of your camper’s registration, enter the correct discount code based on the number of days you can work at camp (will be sent in your staff confirmation email).
Purchase an extra Camp Shirt during Registration!!
One Camp Shirt is provided to everyone with their registration, and it must be worn each day of camp for safety reasons. To make things easier, you can now order an extra Camp Shirt the Camp Store!!!
Multiple campers? Order each person an extra shirt through Cheddar-up one at a time so we know who they belong to.
Shirts will be given to campers first thing Monday morning at camp!
Day Camp Volunteers DO NOT need any previous Girl Scout experience and will receive training on Girl Scout basics along with details specific to Lilburn Day Camp. Camptivity visits are scheduled for you and all New Staff are partnered with an experienced Staff Member to guide you through your first year. Volunteering at camp is a rewarding experience for those who love children and the outdoors!
